This presentation will report the pilot project of the Street Triage service, the findings of the pilot and the impact this had on the use of police powers and police awareness and understanding of mental health problems. It will also describe how this project has moved forward since the completion of the pilot and the relationship it has with other services. A case study will be described to help aid understanding of the role of the service as well as future plans.
