The UK Clinical Psychology Leadership Development Study (CPLead) is a longitudinal study of leadership development within a UK-wide cohort of Clinical Psychology Trainees.

The project is a collaboration between researchers at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training and Centre for Strategic Leadership at The University of Edinburgh. The principal investigator is David Murphy (Joint Director - Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training).

In Summer 2017, we began recruitment of clinical psychology trainees at the start of their first year of a Doctoral Clinical Psychology training programme within the United Kingdom. We plan to follow participants up through the course of their training in order to understand more about how different aspects of leadership develop.

If you are in the first year of Clinical Psychology Training and would like to register your interest in participating in the study please email -
