After more than 18 years at the Institute, Maxine Pribyl, left this week to take early retirement. Staff and current trainees celebrated Maxine's immense contribution over the years at her leaving events. Institute Joint Director, Professor Paul Kennedy said "Max has been a great source of support to staff and trainees over the years and her ability to stay calm and cheerful under pressure has been an inspiration to us all". Maxine said “It has been a real pleasure to work with such a professional, supportive and cohesive group of staff and trainees over the years.  It has been wonderful to see trainees, graduating with their doctorate, keeping in touch and returning to us to supervise and teach new trainees”.
