Role

Dr Evans is a Clinical Tutor at OXICPT. She also has the the lead responsibility for coordinating and developing the Professional Development Programme at the Institute which offers CPD to Clinical Psychologists and other healthcare professionals as well as bespoke training in psychological skills to a range of staff.

Dr Evans is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, a member of the Division of Clinical Psychology and a member of the Health Professionals Council.

 

 

Teaching on the course

Dr Evans convenes the systemic and working with older people modules. She teaches on a range of topics including family work, bereavement, evidence based psychological interventions for people with dementia and consultancy.

Dr Evans is committed to bringing psychological perspectives to the centre of health care training for all staff.

Her clinical interests include working with older people and their families and other networks of support, psychosocial interventions in dementia and working with teams.
