Emma Tuckfield

BSc (hons), MSc

Trainee Clinical Psychologist

I am a second year trainee, and I am currently on placement in the North Oxfordshire Community Learning Disability Team.

My previous placements have been in North Oxfordshire CAMHS, and an Adult Mental Health placement in Berkshire, split between Integrated Psychological Therapies and Acute Inpatient.

Prior to beginning training I worked as an Assistant Psychologist in a neuro-rehabilitation hospital, and most recently as an Assistant Psychologist in a low-secure forensic mental health unit.

I have interests in therapeutic approaches in secure mental health services, experiences of staff and service users in inpatient settings, and systemic and attachment-based approaches to working.
