What is the Open Module?

Speakers will present on a range of topics relevant to those working in applied psychology. The invited speaker presents for 30-45 minutes, followed by a discussion (approx. 15 minutes). After the presentation attendees are invited to partake in light refreshments and the opportunity for informal discussion.

Who is the Open Module for?

The module is named ‘open’ as it is open to all health care professionals. Furthermore the topics covered are open to suggestion (please do not hesitate to contact Dr Reena Vohora if there are suggestions for future topics: reena.vohora@hmc.ox.ac.uk). There is an emphasis on topics that are not covered within the existing academic programme on the three-year doctoral programme. In a commitment to Continuing Professional Development, the Oxford Doctoral Course in Clinical Psychology support the financial costs of the event.

Where and when does the Open Module take place?

There will be approximately three presentations each term (Tuesdays 5:15-6:15).  The Open Module is usually held in Seminar Room 1 at the Isis Education Centre at the Warneford Hospital, Oxford. Space limits the number of possible places so please contact Angela Fox if you would like to attend - Telephone:   01865 226431   or email: angela.fox@hmc.ox.ac.uk

Please see the Home and Events pages on this website for upcoming presentations
